  • It had been a while since my last visit to the Red Rock Canyon and I can unequivocally say that I thoroughly enjoyed my recent trip as much as my last trip. There is no other stunning example of natures' beauty this close to the Vegas strip and if you have the opportunity to go here on your vacation you definitely should. My friend and I came better prepared this time learning from our last visit which was also during the blazing summer month of August. Bring a decent pair of shoes for hiking, lots of water, a good camera and your sense of adventure to explore the many trails/hiking options offered. My buddy and I were able to check out a few new trails on this visit and left feeling tired and satisfied from our Red Rock endeavors.
