My Husband & I recently purchased a used vehicle from Bill Luke, this is my 8/9 purchase from a dealership mainly located in Tempe Area. My sales rep. Paul Minter was awesome, he was very professional & most importantly did not feel being pressured for the sale. Hence the "stars" goes for him, I wish I could give him all 5. Unfortunately I had a bitter/very unprofessional experience with the finance manager, Chris Tilden. I am very surprised to know that he is a manager which such a behavioral demeanor. The problem started as soon as we denied the extended warranty. We purchased a vehicle with only had 6820 mileage which is still under the original factory warranty. We felt very much pushed towards purchasing the extended warranty & it seems the more my husband & I was nicer with Chris he was getting a step ahead of aggression. What will proof my words versus Chris Tilden's, he made us sign initially a paperwork saying he will take our loan application to a Credit Union to see if we can get a better rate than what he was offering due to my husband's good credit history. As soon as we denied the extended warranty after the 9/10 times he kept pushing, he said "ok, I guess I will not lower your interest rate than".. I and my husband was stumbled for a moment with his way of treating us with so much disrespectful attitude just after the denial. It was an awful experience only for the finance individual. Hopefully my explanation will be helpful to others. Thank you.
