Not sure why Ten Ren's started their loyalty card but still isn't 100% on using it properly, etc.
I always have trouble using the card, no matter which location I go to. There always seem to be some sort of issue - can't read the card, the system is slow/didn't read it so the employee has to swipe it twice, trouble paying 50-50 (using the card and cash), unable to print the receipts after using the card......... this has ALL happened to me and I have no idea why. Is it just me??
My drinks came out fine! Ten Ren's options are still good but I saw something in customer service I would consider bad.
An lady ordered her bubble tea and when the employee placed it on the counter - I was confused if it was mine as well since he didn't say the name of the drink too clearly. She went up to look at it/pick it up but he just said "thats not yours" in a rude way. In my opinion, I found his tone and mannerism rude towards the customer.
I have said "that drink/item is not yours" before to other customers while working at a customer service restaurant but it was the WAY he said it that I found it rude.
That same person, however, offered me a tray for my drinks even though I had a friend who could help me carry the drinks as well. So perhaps I'm sensitive on his tone/mannerism, but that's just my opinion.
