| - What seemed to be a good sale gone bad... how disappointing!
I went to RideNow North Phx and had an unpleasant experience so decided to try out the RideNow in Goodyear and it was no better.. Matt, the salesman seemed to be very accommodating at first... but as the puzzle slowly came together, it just got worse and worse. As it began, I walked in knowing exactly what I was looking for. After about 10 minutes I was finally greeted by Matt. I informed him of exactly what I was looking for and let him know I wasn't looking for any games. (I've been in sales before so I know how it goes.) As he walked me to the back, he informed me that "I was in luck because there was only ONE left and it just needed to be finished being build" (it didn't have the cage or seats in place) We went through the process and I gave a deposit all by 4pm. At that time, I knew I was getting it and asked for it to be finished being built so I could take it home that night.. well that wasn't possible due to the lengthy building time.. Not a problem. I could just come pick it up tomorrow.. I signed all the paperwork that night as the lights were turned out on me and was on my way until tomorrow to pick it up... well silly me.
I guess I fell for the lying sales scheme. So here I am the following day after renting a trailer, having my boyfriend get off early and miss his prior arrangements to come and pick up the rzr. As I said before, I've been in this sales field before.. I'm brought out back to do my walk through and take home my rzr finally.. well so I thought. Now the truth all starts to come out.
It wasn't the last one in stock and they built the wrong rzr and on top of it all. This one had a big gash on the driver side fender ("that happened while being shipped supposedly")
So now I'm annoyed. Not only was I inconvenienced by having to make any additional trip down there to pick it up.. they don't even have mine finished, it was never even touched.
Still, after ALL this I keep my cool and was extremely understanding of the situation, I was just asking for them to make it right.
I did not want to get a whole new approval, and sign all new documentation on a brand new rzr that already had a big gash in the side. I'm not trying to buy something that already has gashes in it.
So the manager comes over and says "the gashes are going to happen, we have these units discounted so much there is nothing we can do but switch units and have you sign all new paperwork on the one that is done, or have the other delivered to you tomorrow"
Not only was I not able to leave with my rzr. They were not able to accommodate their error in any way other than delivering it to my house the following day..
Well now here we are today.. I've waited 3 days to finally be able to have my rzr. I informed them I needed it by 5pm and they said I would receive a call when they were on the way.. 4:30 rolls around and I haven't gotten a call.. now this is getting ridiculous.
I call Matt, and of course no answer. So I call the RideNow asking for an update.. I wait on hold for 5 minutes and as I'm holding, "surprisingly" I get a phone call that they are on the way.. (it's a 45+ minute drive from there, plus traffic) ..shocking they call as I'm waiting on hold. NOT! I had to remind them about the delivery and now I sit here waiting with still no rzr at my house..
It's very upsetting that RideNow is unable to do anything to accommodate the not only one, but four different occasions I've had to deal with in this process...
