  • A great Italian supermarket with a considerably larger space & selection than its peers in Calgary. Prices generally seems a bit more reasonable too. Distinguishing features include a big deli counter with lots of tasters, a huge selection of syrups for Italian soda or coffee (including pine shoot syrup from Poland), numerous brands of fresh frozen pasta, specialty local beef (e.g. Piedmontese) and other meats, and the gamut of fresh baked Italian bread styles. The in-house restaurant has a nice selection of desserts, and the pizza is quite popular. The toppings on the pizza were great, but it wasn't my favorite crust (not a tradition wood burning oven). Overall a great place to stroll around and pick up tasty foodstuffs without breaking the bank!
