I don't shop there often, because they always seem to give me a hard time, whether I'm trying to use one of the many coupons they put out that never seem to be valid for my purchase, or today, when I was trying to exchange a defective product I purchased that broke.
Because I:
a. didn't' have a receipt (who keeps them for months?)
b. hadn't given them my phone number and registered with them to receive their spam mails,
c. could have (but din not) purchase it at another retailer, they refused to let me have a product exchange.
The manager, Jennifer let me know my problems were of little interest to her. She could not have been more condescending. Seriously, with the volume they do, I'm sure the manufacturer would have replaced my broken product, but whoever is in charge of this non-customer friendly company couldn't see clear to possibly take any kind of a loss to their profits. Have they never heard of "business goodwill?" Smart companies let their customers know how much they value their business. Jennifer acted like my exchange would have cost her money from her own paycheck.
It's no wonder they have a one-star rating on consumeraffairs.com : https://www.consumeraffairs.com/retail/ulta-beauty.html
