Participated in the "wrongfully accused" escape today here's my review.
First I booked the room for the 12:15 time slot for me and my two nephews. I later call a friend and she says she would love to come. She goes on online to book, and the 12:15 time slot is now greyed out and unavailable. I figure I'm now going to be working with 3 strangers. I'm informed upon arrival that once a room is booked regardless of how many people that prohibits anyone else from joining. So in reality my friend could have joined.
We are taken to the room and upon first glance the whole room has a very dingy, rundown feeling. This was my first escape room ever and had no idea what to expect. I found some of the puzzles to be a little out of left field. You do get three clues via a walkie-talkie to help you if you get stuck.
We did end up ultimately failing but after being told the answers I didn't get upset was more astonished that I was expected to be able to solve it.
With this being my first escape room I was extremely underwhelmed, I did however enjoy myself and will be back to try the other rooms.
