  • When you crave bubbletea sometimes you just go to the closest place nearest to you. Since we happened to be downtown we stopped in to see what was up with this " new-ish " bbt joint. First of all Asian bubbletea places have a " plus + plus + " scheme they love to do. " would you like boba? Would you like green or black tea? ...ok that will be 6.95 please." Seriously? Why don't you charge me for breathing the air in your shop too. I don't see what the other yelpers see in this spot...it smells like a old downstairs basement and you have a view of...bustops?maybe the angle I'm looking at is wrong... The last time I checked bubbletea came with boba with no charge. Keep in mind...English is bare minimal and non existence in this place. I ended up sitting and waiting next to an open garbage can by the door with my boyfriend and got my bubbletea...with grassjelly. If your gonna up charge so hard at least get my order right. Maybe these people should stay out of the bubbletea business.
