Cleveland Bagel is such a great stop for bagel-y goodness. Typically I'm a die hard everything bagel supporter but I was swayed by the looks of the rosemary sea salt bagels. Was not disappointed. There is a ton of rosemary on top and it paired really nicely with the thyme black pepper horseradish cream cheese (I really hate the word schmear let's get that out of the way now). The staff was friendly and quick so overall pleasant and I was surprised how good the coffee was. Major cons include the parking situation and seating once you get in - there isn't much of either and the tables that were available were quite dirty.
I dig the simplicity of their recipe - I'm all about less being more and Cleveland Bagel proves that you can make tasty food without a ton of ingredients. I also love the weird staff bagel photoshoot pictures and that you can see into the back where they make the bagels. The vibe here is more of an in and out kinda place vs sit down and stay a while. I'd like to see them add a dairy-free cream cheese but I'm not going to knock em for not having one. It is a bit pricey to make stopping a regular thing but I also don't think I go out for bagels regularly as is. When I do I'll definitely be back!
