  • Thrifty Ice Cream served with the original cylinder scoop for uniformity can be found at Scoops. Everyone loves Thrifty Ice Cream and it can be found all over town these days, but finding it served with that cylinder scoop is not as common. What is consistent is the tastiness of the ice cream. My favorite is the cherry chip vanilla flavor. I heard that the cylindrical scoops here are equivalent to a scoop and a half of the more common round scoops, so $2.49 for one scoop seems like a fair price. The service has always been friendly and the place is clean, so it's a perfect place to get your Thrifty fix when you're craving that frozen blast from the past.
