  • Met 2 friends for dinner on a Thursday 6:00. Service was bad. Tried to order one bottle of wine. It was not available. Then a alternate also not available. Fortunately, 3rd choice was. Waitress verbally recited 2 specials. One being lamb chops. Said it was a huge portion of 36 ounces. Realizing she said 3 chops it was probably three 6 oz chops. Which is what it was. Reasonable portion but not 36 oz. Staff is not trained well. Polite but aloof. We all three ordered 4 appetizers. Wings, 2 orders because waitress said they were small. She was right about that. Octopus was slimy and not fresh. Dates were good, again very small portions. Salad order only came out for 2 of us. Waitress no where to be found. Even server delivering dropped salad and ran without asking if we needed anything. Other salad eventually came out with dinner but we had to ask for it. Bus person wanted me to keep my fork after appetizer. No place mat. I guess I was supposed to put dirty utensil on table or just hold it. No check back until dinner was over. This place was more than half empty. Service is below par because of what appears lack of training. This was my second visit. Friends also stated similar experiences from their past visits. Lamb was very good and a reasonable portion more salt than I prefer though. Friend said salmon was the saltiest he ever had. Will not return. The value is not there. When service is bad the desire to return is lost. It's too bad because the place is a beautiful environment.
