  • Be careful here. I really wanted to like this place. I was having pain in my mouth in which my husband thought based on my symptoms that there was an abscess. I went to the dentist and they took an xray. My husband specifically informed them on the phone to look for an abscess. They said they cannot find anything and that the pain was from me possibly grinding my teeth. This all happened last week. Well flash forward to this week and my pain is increasing. I went to multiple doctors and even the ER because my pain was just unbearable. On monday my spouse called them and asked if they could please check the xrays or get her in again to look, he believes there must be something there based on my pain. The secretary talked to the dentist who then said 'there is nothing wrong, I remember the xray and we can't get you in today.' I was unhappy about this but I trusted them. I thought wow, this must be TMJ possibly. Well after already spending 500 dollars in copays and who knows what else to come, my husband got me into an oral surgeon to look for the TMJ because I needed relief. I was in severe, severe pain. The oral surgeon took an xray and said 'thats an abscess, it looks like you need a root canal. How did your dentist miss this? You need to find a new one immediately.' he then got me into a dentist to perform an emergency root canal. All of this set me back 1260 dollars PLUS the ER trips and days of pain and suffering all because the people at Cherrington are unable to read an xray. The amount of pain I was in was enough that the ER gave me morphine and it all could have been prevented if they would just go the extra mile to trust their patients and take a closer look. I advise anyone to stay away because nobody deserves to go through all that pain and dentists should at least take the time to listen to what their clients need or feel. Now i'm in a very tough spot financially and have to even get a crown on top of the 1260 dollar payment. How cherrington saw none of this is beyond me. STAY AWAY!!!!
