  • I took a friend here as a thank you for several days of cat-sitting. The food was fantastic, but the service left a lot to be desired. We each started with a Violet Femme cocktail. It was delicious, although a tad too sweet for me. To be fair, I do not like sweet cocktails at all. I decided to go with 4 courses, and my friend went with 3. We each ordered different items, in order to maximize the number of dishes we got try. We ended up with: -Burrata: creamy and everything burrata should be -Ricotta: this dish was absolutely amazing, especially with the oney Yellowtail: beautiful presentation, light and refreshing -Vodka pasta:delicious, and while rich, not too heavy -Semolina gnocchi: like a mini lasagna. would order again in a heartbeat -Tortellini pie:I did not know what I was getting into with this. I could have had this as a meal by itself. Tortellini and beef baked inside pie crust....excuse my while I clean up my drool -Pork belly: this was the only dish I didn't care for. The sauce for the pork bell was too sweet, even for the saltiness of the pork belly. -Ricksaw red wine- for my second drink I went with this. I've had the Ricksaw before and loved it, but this tasted like it had be open for awhile. While the food was fantastic, the service was so slow. We spent 2.5 hours here. I get that it's more of a "slow" dining establishment, but there is a difference between allowing me time to enjoy my food and lackadaisical service. To me, this service experience was representative of the latter. We waited a long time between each dish. The couple sitting next to us ended up cutting their meal short due to the inattentive service. I might come back and sit at the bar, but they would need to improve their service before I'd want the full dining experience again.
