  • Came here to try the shaved ice and it was pretty good. There are many flavours but since it was our first time we decided to go with the standard green tea flavour. You can choose three toppings to complement your shaved ice so we decided to go with red bean, mochi, and aloe. When we got it my initial impression of it was that it was huge and I was glad we were sharing. They can give you separate bowls and spoons for that as well. *Note that you may be wondering where your toppings are as you may only see a select few appearing around the rim of your shaved ice. They are actually buried underneath the shaved ice mountain!* *Digging in* The look of the shaved ice reminded me of layers of bean curd stacked together. The texture of the shaved ice felt more like ice cream rather than the snow cone kind of ice but it was still pretty good and interesting. Although I would have wished for a more rich matcha tea flavour it was still good and definitely not too sweet at all. The taiwanese popcorn chicken was good too and not too oily or salty. I decided to try the coconut custard brick toast as well. It smelled amazing and was served on a wooden board. The top part of the toast seemed like it was coated with something similar to the top layer of pineapple buns and had a similar tasted to it as well. Inside there is a thin layer of custard and it was good. The service was good and quick however the wait time can be long. When you arrive they give you a ticket with a number on it similar to what people do at dim sum places. There is wifi as well. The onky downside is that unlike most bubble tea shops which close late this places opens at 12pm and closes at 12am. All in all I enjoyed this place and would come back.
