  • So disappointed with this shop. I bought my MTB here a few years ago and have come here for service and referred friends here for rentals multiple times. Today 2 friends rented MTB from Las Vegas Cyclery for a half day. In the first 5 minutes of the ride, we discovered 2 abandoned dogs, one was stuck in the drainage channel by the Mesa Park. It took a while to check to see if we could find their owners (we thought hurt nearby), then earn their trust enough to carry the stuck dog out of the the drain. Then, with the dogs rescued, we had to take them to a shelter to prevent them from getting hit by passing cars or lost in the desert. When my fiance and friend returned to the bikes and explained what had happened and that they didn't get to ride, the store manager said it was our choice to rescue the dogs! Really? What outdoors store supports letting the dogs die in the drainage channel? Eventually my friends would have both purchased bikes here and likely my fiance and I would have upgraded too, but now we will go to McGhees for all our bike needs.
