  • I *really* wanted to love this place, but would have been fine just liking it a lot. I went (3) separate times for gel manicures and (1) time also got a pedicure. The pedicure was pathetic. The feet were scrubbed, but not buffed - that only leaves more rough skin. The massage was a gentle rub. The nail polish did not cover the full nails. The male tech was very charming (and knew it) but that did not make up for the unsatisfactory work. Out of the (3) gel manicures w the same tech each time (not male pedi tech), 1 was very good, 1 mediocre, and 1 very bad. The nails look good when I left each time, but I am concerned w what the nails look like 2,4 6 days later. Each time I have called to make an appt, I got a run around. When I called &/or stopped by for repairs, an even worse run around by receptionist and nail tech. The receptionist has a snooty, elitist attitude both over the phone and in person as if customer service is an inconvenience. Yes this place is busy. Yes it is well decorated and clean. And yes, it has a full bar. But the actual service expected from a nail salon is unsatisfactory. It is overpriced and many of the staff (non-Asian) have awful attitudes. I won't return here. And if I want a drink, I'll go to an actual bar.
