  • During my horrible experience with Alamo at the McCarran Car Rental place, I turned to Avis, a place I've rented from before. My RESERVED van with Alamo, was given away and they "don't know how" it happened. Stressed out and angry, I turned to Danny from Avis who was so nice and calm. He helped me get a quote for the vehicle I needed, but it was a bit more expensive than what I had reserved at Alamo. Stressed out and with no other option, I agreed so he started the paperwork. I mentioned that Alamo had "f'd" me over and he can tell I wasn't having a good day. The whole time he was very talkative and in great spirits, which help calmed me down. At the end of the paperwork, he put in a discount for my rental and even covered the insurance. I couldn't believe that after wasting 2hrs with Alamo with no progress, I had my van situation resolved, and it ended up being a better deal. No, I won't get my 2hrs back(that's f-in Alamo), but I felt such a relief that Avis actually cared about serving their customers. I am a customer for life and that is owed to the service of Danny #67507.
