  • Located within minutes of my house yet I had not tried it. Always trying to avoid temptation. Last week I had a craving for coconut ice cream so I headed for Sweet Republic as I thought they might have this flavor. I had a sample and it was pretty good but then I tasted flavor XXXX and I was in love!!!!!!!! I bought two scoops. Tonight, I went back for a pint of XXXXX. I can't tall you the flavor because then there won't be any left for me. I'm serious. Only one complaint. They had pre-scooped Pints (which is what I wanted this time) but I was leery of getting it pre-scooped. Sometimes ice forms and then it doesn't taste good. So I asked that my ice-cream be scooped into the pint from the fresh batch. The young man was packing my ice cream pint, when an asian woman came from the back and removed a lot of the ice cream from the top. I assume she is the owner. Then she added about a teaspoon to the top and smoothed it out. I was surprised that she would do such a thing since ice cream does settle and then it is not a true pint. At $7.50 plus tax for a pint of ice cream, I expect it to be full. When I got home, I noticed that it did settle and the pint was not really full. I really love their ice cream but if I buy a pint, I expect a pint. I hope the management reads this review and understands that I am a fan but I want to get what I pay for.
