  • Classiest show on the Strip. I live in Las Vegas, and have seen just about every show here. I will admit up front that I have a fondness for the classic Vegas style of entertainment (live music, great singers, beautiful dancers) - and so this show appealed to me from the start. From the ads, I expected good eye-candy; pretty costumes, nice sets - What surprised and delighted me was just how truly top-notch the performers were. In particular, the MC Eric Jordan Young and featured singer, Reva Rice are simply amazing - Young's "Once in a Lifetime" and Ms. Rice's "Midnight Train to Georgia" both brought down the house. The choreography was excellent, and beautifully done. Each dancer up there was giving it all on the night that I attended. Nobody was just going through the motions. These kids work HARD! ...and they're HOT! (but I digress..) Costumes, Sets, Lighting, Sound - all well above average. and THERE IS A LIVE BAND! Not just a trio with tracks - I'm talking a full, live and onstage showband! You just don't see that anymore, and to me - this alone justifies the admission price. Great arrangements, and great playing! The row in front of me was comprised of a group of twenty-something boors. The guys were in tank-tops and flip-flops; The girls had wicked big hair; hooker makeup, and embarrassing dresses. None of them applauded or even responded once. They just sat there chewing gum and breathing through their mouths through the whole show. So; If you're the type who thinks that "Jersey Shore" is great entertainment - or if you're expecting the kind of beautiful-but-mindless spectacle that a Cirque show offers, then go see any of the myriad pre-recorded, sparkly, empty, soul-less productions that our town seems to love so much. If you want to experience a truly classy, beautiful, old-school Vegas showroom show; featuring world-class entertainers - this is THE ONE. You'll love it.
