After moving to North Carolina from Texas, my husband and I decided to drive four hours to chuy's for our wedding anniversary dinner. It was a favorite of ours back in Texas.
Although the food was probably five stars, the waiter was a negative five. We sat down and he said what do you want to eat and drink? And I was like can we have second to order. He literally came back a minute later and asked again. We ordered an app and our dinner. He didn't explain the menu when I asked a question. We ended up ordering a salad dressing for our enchiladas because he was pushing.
When we were almost done with our food he took away our plates and put the check on our table. Keep in mind we are the only table with people in the whole section. We were close to the kitchen and he went and high fived the manager. The manager said "wow that was fast." And he replied "what can I say... I have talent." No sir you're lazy and pushed us out of your restaurant and we will not return. Thanks for ruining our experience and anniversaries dinner.
Circling your patrons to make them feel uncomfortable and leave is rude and messed.
