  • We'll it finally happened. The planets aligned, the stars converged, and the heavens cast forth a light that led us to the door of Johnnie's Pizza. Yes friends, I was able to actually get in and try this place out. After 10 years of waiting; and was it worth it??? eh... Yeah I guess it was. I'm not sure it was worth $30 for two small pizzas, but it was fine. It is not the greatest pizza I have ever had in my life, but it was very nice. I like thin crust and the Chicago style is a nice change of pace. If you are from the midwest it is very close to a pizza chain called Valentino's. Sweet sauce and light on the toppings. They do not offer a ton of choices and the place looks like a throwback to a 60's diner in Chi-town, but hey, at least I can cross this one off my list.
