rev:text	### FRIDAY UPDATE ### It's 10:55 am and still no "new" computers. Perhaps the staff here are hileuscinating and are being fed weed brownies. Please, lord, help us. I need him to pass his damn test today. And now, their printers aren't working to print temps. ### FRIDAY UPDATE ### This place is pathetic. Take this from someone whom just moved here from Chicago, the IL MVD's are better than this and that's a horrible thing to say taking how broken IL is. Really, I thought IL was bad but this MVD takes the cake for the sh*tiest. My experience to get my license was wonderful. Though, I did have to wait a little, every one I came across was friendly and I was in and out after about 2 hours. Not too, too bad. One weird thing is they don't give you your license on the spot. They give you a slip of paper, punch a hole in your old license which makes that invalid and they mail you your actual ID. Stupid? Yes. Would save the state AT LEAST MILLIONS of dollars on postage each year if they were to just print and provide your license on the spot. And the hole punching of your ID? How moronic. 95% of the places I went would not accept the temporary paper ID and when I tried to use my out of state ID that had a big hole in it, that wasn't valid either. The state needs to fix these things. At least print the damn temps in color to make them valid or SOMETHING? For the love of God... Well, we were here again for brother. He needed to take a written test and the road test but the written test systems don't work. Why? Because they are running WINDOWS XP FROM 2001 on computers that look at least 20 years old. It's ridiculous because they don't work either. Supposedly, they are receiving new computers and a new system Friday but it took this piece of crap MVD 20 years to get new computers? Pathetic. I hate this place with a passion. Not because of those who work here, who were very nice to us but because they can't run this place with any sort of common sense.
