  • Live nearby and thought I'd support local business. Big sign at register advertises they take AMEX. The cashier says "even though it says that... We don't". Okay. A lot of places don't so I pull out a visa to pay for it. I look at the receipt while signing and notice a .50 fee that was rung up as an item. No sign or any mention by the cashier. Just signed, shook my head and left. Honestly don't know how this place keeps any repeat business. Everything and anything in here can be bought online for less. If you're gonna nickel and dime people coming into your physical store, how are you gonna compete?
