  • I have to say, after reading all these reviews and doing research on my own, I REALLY didn't want to buy from Pinnacle Nissan, but we had a friend who just recently bought a car, had a great experience, and referred us to John in fleet, so we took our chances. I have to say, overall, I'm happy we did. Though it still took awhile, John was great and the general manager, Gerry, was great too. The finance department I can do without. Now, I understand that financing is one of the many places dealerships make their money, but when I say "No, not interested" I really do mean, "No, not interested". So, Pinnacle Nissan finance department, when I say "No, I don't want to finance a maintenance package based on scare tactics" stop trying to shove it down my throat by treating me like I just passed up the opportunity of a lifetime. You took what would have been a very positive buying experience and made it less so. I get you're doing your job and good for you in trying to squeeze more money out of me, but no means no. Period. So off we go in our new car and within a day, I notice the tire light won't go off, I have a couple hail dings not previously noticed on the car, and a slight rattle. I reach out to Gerry who, as before, is stellar: "No problem, come on in". Since I bought on the weekend we had final finance paperwork to finish so I go back at lunch. Gerry is great. But the finance department AGAIN starts with a pitch for a higher interest rate and how I'll save money. "No". "Really? Do you even understand what this means and how much you'll save?" "Yes, I do, and the answer is still no. No. No. No". The finance guy gets downright condescending but luckily, Gerry waves him out of the office and finishes the paperwork himself. So if you're looking for a Nissan remember three things: 1. Go to Pinnacle Nissan and ask for John in Fleet. 2. Be sure to meet Gerry the general manager. 3. Do WHATEVER IT TAKES to not deal with their finance department (go get your own financing, or practice saying, "NO, NO, NO" a few times in front of the mirror. Overall you'll have a good experience, a fair price and a nice ride.
