My first and last visit to Dillon's Thunderbird -- since we are not big meat-eaters, we both ordered tilapia. I ordered the grilled tilapia w/potato salad and broccoli. My husband ordered the blackened w/baked potato and broccoli.
Oddly enough, the grilled tilapia was much more highly seasoned than the blackened and very salty. I left half on my plate.
The potato salad was a disappointing blob of dressing/sour cream with another heavy dose of salt. Neither one of us could eat it. The fish WAS cooked nicely in terms of done-ness - just couldn't handle the salty and peppery overdose.
Guess what was good? The broccoli! Great job on the broccoli - but I didn't pay for a few spears of veggies!
Maybe I will try a different Dillon's.
