  • I am so happy to have found a cozy cafe serving delicious caffeinated drinks in downtown Toronto. I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick 30min break before meeting up with a friend for dinner. Black Canary is small with only about 15-20 seats. It's designed best for singles but there are a couple of tables for smaller groups or couples. It is a bit hard to find at first as it located upstairs in the comic book store, Silver Snail - but thanks to the Yelp community, it was easier to find :) Since its not on the street level, it is fairly quiet which is hard to come by when you're in the heart of Dundas Square. I ordered a latte and loved it. Their prices are reasonable as well which is surprising (to me at least) considering the area. They also has a strong WiFi connection, making this cafe a hotspot to get some work done.
