  • I'd recently lost my regular stylist and was on the hunt for a new one. My search led me to Linus Inc, based on the reviews I've read, I was pretty optimistic about my expectations. And I'm thrilled with the results. I was immediately greeted when I came in the door. I had made the appointment with Robin, but Luke (who greeted me) knew the situation and was asking helpful questions about what I wanted/needed from the appointment. Robin was totally awesome! The consultation was one of the most thorough I've ever had. We discussed every aspect of what I'd been doing for the last few months, and what I wanted to do in the future. She walked me through what she thought was the best solution for my major colour correction. And she did it, perfectly! It's a really relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, like you're a friend stopping by for a chat. And the music? It really is that great - Led Zeppelin, obscure Pulp, Kate Bush, everything. Considering how complex my situation was, I was so surprised that it was: a) so quick, and b) so affordable I honestly expected to be $100 more than what I was charged. I couldn't believe it! I found the one awesome, affordable salon in the city - AND it's in my neighbourhood. It's one of the best experiences and values in the city - Period.
