  • As a Valley Veg I am always thrilled to find new Veg friendly spots and was excited when one of my friends invited me to Nourish for lunch. I have read several of the reviews and will do my best to "clarify" a few things for my fellow yelpers. Firstly, no need to complain about the ever daunting task of parking in a garage and walking up a flight of stairs... there is a VALET, I pulled right up front, gave a nice young man my car and it was waiting for me when I finished lunch. Easy. The restaurant has a cool vibe, clean decor, nice staff, plenty of seating inside and out. The first time I ate there was lunch with my friend. I was running late, so the table had already ordered, but upon my arrival the waitress rushed right over, made some recommendations based on my veg status and was able to bring my Optima sandwich and sweet potato avocado salad out with everyone else's food. I really appreciated that. The sandwich was large but very yummy and the sweet potato salad was DELISH! I could have eaten a huge bowl of it. Now, if your lunch typically consists of greasy bacon cheeseburgers or ruben sandwiches, you probably won't enjoy the menu at Nourish. It is HEALTHY! I wouldn't go to Delux and complain there were just too many burgers, don't go to Nourish and be disappointed it was all "rabbit food." It's all about expectations, people! Now, back to the food. The second time I visited Nourish was dinner with my hubby. We caught a Sunday matinee at Camelview and decided to grab an early dinner. There was one waiter for about 3 tables, he was nice, relaxed perfectly attentive by my husband and my standards. We were happy to see that they serve Session (our new favorite beer) and it was only $2 bottle, bonus! I ordered the Teriyaki wild rice bowl and my hubs ordered the Optima sandwich - based on my recommendation. The food came out quickly and I enjoyed my bowl. The portion was perfect, flavor was good, it wasn't super sweet or syruppy like some teriyaki can be. My hub really enjoyed his sandwich and was a big fan of the sweet potato avocado salad. Both times the service has been good, food has been fresh and tasty and the restaurant has been clean. I'll be back.
