Let me start by saying I absolutely hate to review any business less than 5 stars. But it is extremely necessary in this circumstance. My fiancé and I had a reservation on New Years Eve. We expected the place to be packed which it was. We didn't expect to be seated right away I understand that people linger on holidays. What I didn't expect was that they were an hour and a half behind on reservations. I really wasn't even mad about that. We had several interesting conversations with other couples that were waiting so the time passed by pretty quickly. What was really frustrating is we were sitting there for a long time. So I watched every person check in. We were also chit chatting with everyone so I knew what time each persons reservation was supposed to be at. Two tables were open in the bar (with the white table cloth is how they described it) for a very long time these tables sat empty. Fast forward 45 minutes and the hostess asked a gentleman sitting next to me if he would like to take the table in the bar. He declined and waited for a dining room table. He was there with his girlfriend...so a table for 2 just like us. But his reservation was 30 minutes after us and he checked in way after us. The difference is he complained about the wait time. So they were trying to seat him before us. 15 minutes later the hostess offered my fiancé and I that table. We took it. No apologies for the wait. Our server came over to greet us and said "I've been telling them to seat people in here all night" Everyone waited a long time New Year's Eve so obviously there is mismanagement on reservations. But I watched them seat people in a very confusing order. And I was extremely mad they were going to seat a reservation 30 minutes after us. We should have been offered that option first. To make matters worse I watched a manager yelling at a server right next to our table. Then to make it extremely worse the couple that complained about the wait got part of their meal comp'd. Our reservation was at 915 we were seated at 1030. No apologies nothing at all. Food was great. Amazing even. Our server was fabulous. But I will never go back. I've never seen such disorganization.
