To the comment about how you'll only receive good treatment if you're a rich white woman....well I'm a wealthy-ish white woman and my experience was very underwhelming. I had the most voluminous set (forget name but I think it was 3D volume) where the receptionist told me they would customize the shape based on my preferences/eye shape for the best result. Sounds exciting right? Well the girl who did my lashes, Aisha, didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted and was borderline rude. I also think she was sick as she kept sniffling and she was drinking lemon/honey tea. A couple days later, I caught a cold too :(
So she starts doing my lashes and I ask her, "are you going to customize the set based on my eye shape?", and she looks at me weird and goes, "well, you're getting a set look so it will look good" Huh? That doesn't even answer my question. As for the lashes themselves, they were pretty much the exact same look I've gotten from a nail salon except I paid $250 more. Not one person complimented my lashes either; in fact, I've gotten more compliments on my lashes from a volumizing mascara and the Lilly Lashes for $30 which vary
the length and thickness to give a more beautiful/ realistic look.
At this place, it's clear you're paying for their rent/marketing and not any actual talent nor personalized service. I now go to a place that charges me $80 and I get sooo many compliments on them.
