Well I purchased this service through Living Social and now I wish I had checked these yelp reviews first.
In the beginning I called and called to make an appointment. I had this voucher since the beginning of November. I tried email too, and then finally got a response. We confirmed an appointment.
I the day of my appointment I waited until about 30 minutes after to call the company. The service set their answering machine to not receive messages. Even though they said to leave a message.
I tried email and got a response. John said that they must have broken down. I can see that from the other reviews that others had the same no show, no call and no response. I tried to get John to reschedule and I did not get threatening or rude even though I felt that this company had been unprofessional to me.
John said he would get back to me on a date and then he never did.
I am also reporting them to BBB and Angie's List. I have pre-paid and they won't even answer emails or calls to respond.
I also see that John responds to many of the reviews very negatively. John just beware, I do have every email between us and not once did I leave a bad comment to you via email. Also, my home is 1200 sq ft and within driving range. It is very nicely kept and mostly dusting and shower cleaning would have been the hardest job.
You didn't even get to my house to see what a cake job this would have been.
So let's see you defend this comment. I have the confirmed email and I was at my home until 12pm (my appt was at 10:00am) when you said via email that they would not be showing.
I think if you want to gain back some of the business you will lose via these Yelp reviews then you should find some humility and start working on your cusotmer service.
