We've been here 4-5 times and enjoy the low-key environment, open space and friendly service. Last night was no exception. We arrived at 7pm or so on a Friday night and were seated immediately just inside the door at a funky blue table for two that old carvings in it. The servers worked together to make sure that we had beverages ( Pinot Noir and a Sangiovese) and inform us of the evenings specials.
We ordered the Lasagna, the Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Salad (The Best in Town), and the special Antipasto Platter that included grilled asparagus, sweet potatoes, beets, cauliflower and garlic cloves. The only hiccup for the pleasant dinner was that the three servings took over 25 minutes to come out. We had a few slices of their excellent bread to satiate us, but the salad was the last item to come from the kitchen and we had asked the food to come as soon as it was ready.
In closing, the management was kind enough to comp a few things for the wait. We will return again soon!
