  • We have been coming to rise and shine for about 3 years, for a while it was our Sunday breakfast spot and we would go every Sunday. We always get the same thing, country fried steak, the Texas French toast and a side of bacon. Slowly the service and "friendly" atmosphere turned to crabby and sloppy. I understand that breakfast places are usually packed on the weekends but that is no excuse for the lack of customer service. When I say "thank you" as you put down my food I don't expect a lot but maybe a "you're welcome". Last week we went to the newer location on Valle Verde and because the food has always been Phenomenal we will take the drive and go to that one. We will miss our regular servers but the new staff that has been hired needs to be trained in basic manners at the Southern Highlands location.
