| - I just got back from vacation after staying here a week. I will start off with something positive. The grounds are pretty nice. We stayed in a newly renovated 1 bedroom master, so the decor was pretty decent, spacious kitchen. We checked in late Sunday evening. We asked if we could look at the room prior to committing. We liked the room but I immediately called the front desk to say we wanted the room but it needed to be cleaned. They said since it was late they could get someone there the next day. We agreed, and that was probably a mistake. It was clear that the floors were not swept or mopped and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. One of the bathroom counters there was something gross laying there. That night we decided to use the bathtub and stepping in to it it was extremely shaky and un-level. Looking underneath we noticed one of the legs wasn't attached. It was just lying there. How could housekeeping not feel that when cleaning? In the bedroom, I had dropped something on the floor and when I bent down to pick it up, I noticed a piece of popcorn or some sort of food at the corner underneath the bed. So, the next day when we were ready to leave the room, I called the front desk and explained all this to them. They said they would have the tub fixed and housekeeping to clean. Hours later we returned to our room only to find the tub had been fixed. Really?? I called again and told them the room hadn't been cleaned. Of course they were apologetic and would have someone come up. We left for a couple hours to come back and find that the popcorn was still under the bed, that gross thing was still on the bathroom counter, and the floors were swept but definitely not mopped! I wasn't about to leave my room again that night. I did pick up that thing off the bathroom counter because I was tired of looking at it. The next day we were at the pool and one of the manager's was walking around. I explained all this to him. Again, apologetic and said he would have housekeeping come the next day to clean. They came. I can tell you that the bed was made and the trash was taken out. The towels were not replaced, the bathroom sinks were not cleaned and that food is still under the bed. It's clear they have a completely different definition of clean here. For the room being newly renovated, the carpet in the bedroom had a dark stain and the mattress had big dips in it on each side. Only the middle of the bed and support. The walls are so super thin there. I can tell you what our neighbor had for breakfast, every time they used the bathroom and took a shower and most of their conversations. It was very hard to sleep in. We were woken every morning around 6 am and had to wait a couple hours until they were done doing whatever they were doing to take a little nap. Oh, and the cable went out when we were there. We were told that it was going to be fixed the next day, but it wasn't. We had about 5 channels to watch and nothing interesting to watch on any of them. The pool was nice to hang out at and it was large enough that it wasn't over crowded. I'm not sure how often it gets cleaned though because where the numbers of the feet that are on the tiles around the pool have dirt built up and stuck on it. You could scrape it with your fingernail.
If a clean room is important to you and you are somewhat of a light sleeper or just want to relax in your room without the people above you sounded like they are skating on your ceiling, I wouldn't recommend this place.
