The menu selection of steak was impressive. I ordered the 10 oz filet, priced around $55. Sides are family style, and I recommend the goat cheese scallop potatoes. They were incredible. I also really enjoyed the complimentary french fries with dipping sauces, and baked bread before the meal.
The decor is stunning, and the restaurant is ideal for a group setting.
If I was rating this review on just the above, then I would generously give Strip Steak 5 stars, however, my 3 star review is based on service. This is what we experienced while dining:
1) My friend's steak was cold in the middle. Not sure how long our meal was sitting out, but this should never happen at an upscale steakhouse.
2) My other friend's halibut was not cooked throughout, hence leaving a very salty, bitter taste.
3) The service was slow. We sat down for an 8 pm reservation and did not get out of there until after 11 pm.
4) I ordered Bearnaise sauce with my meal and it did not come out with my steak. I had to wait until the server took another trip to the kitchen to finally bring it out.
These inconveniences should never happen at a restaurant where our final bill comes to $900 for 7 people. I won't be coming back here.
*If you are in Vegas there are PLENTY of other phenomenal steakhouses* Do your yelping research....
