This place gives a great first impression. The building is unique to the area and I love the styling. It feels old-fashioned, but it looks new.
We went through the drive-thru and ordered at the window. The man that took my order was very friendly and helpful. He noticed my car full of little kids and gave them each a free sample cone. That was a lifesaver, as I wasn't sure how they would share in the car and all the items are too large/expensive for one little kid. Needless to say, the custard and cones were all gobbled up in under five minutes!
I ordered the StrawAnna Sundae (small) and could see them slicing a fresh banana on top. Yum! The vanilla custard is delicious and the toppings were the perfect compliment. I'm a sweet tooth, so I probably could've eaten the whole thing on my own, but it was attacked by kids as soon as we got home.
It's interesting: I automatically feel like this place is "too expensive" when I see menu items starting at $4. But when I take into account how great the quality is and how large the portions, it makes sense. Instead of $1 cones at McDonald's, my kids can share a quality sundae for $4. Sold!
