One of Madison's safest bets for a nice dining experience. It's not extraordinary, but the food is fine and the wine list is good, as everyone notes.
It's also one of the few restaurants in town that I could imagine staying in business in another city, such as Boston. (Yes, I always play that game with my wife. Namely: what's the largest city this restaurant could survive in? :)
The cuisine isn't innovative, but I have yet to have a bad meal here. (And this is the only restaurant in Madison I can say that about.) So, if you're going out for dinner or have guests from a "big city" who are used to "good" restaurants, Eno Vino is among Madison's most consistently good choices.
