  • Literally the worst phone service on the market. If I could give them negative stars, it would be more than they deserved. It has been three weeks of a nightmare trying to port my number to them. When we first called, we were hung up on twice after waiting over 10 minutes on hold for a representative. You could hear the representative pick up and continue gossiping with their coworkers before hanging up the phone without even answering it. Then my port failed and we waited a week for more information on whether it went through but they NEVER contacted us. We had to contact them and deal with their incompetent employees who hem and haw and have no idea what's going on, got transferred around, finally got an answer that the port had failed. So we called back with more information, had to contact the other phone service ourselves in order to get AT&T to do their job. Got an iPhone 6 while we were at it. We were assured by the person handling it that everything went through correctly and that the phone was now being shipped and they expedited the process for our trouble, that we would get it this week. Well, we went to check the status of the order today to see when we would get it and IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED. It is STILL PROCESSING. Let me point out at this time that they have ALREADY CHARGED US for this phone that they have not shipped even though they said they did. So of course we called them. Not sure if the moron who told us everything was good to go was either lying or didn't put any notes into our account, but when after 15 minutes we finally reach someone, she's an idiot who has dated notes. First of all she took 20 minutes to figure out what she was even doing and kept putting us on hold so she could probably dumbly ask her neighbor how to find an account, kept asking us for our name and the number over and over again and getting it wrong. Then she finally says "well um I don't know I mean um there are really strange notes in your account I have no idea what it is it's very unusual so I have to talk to a supervisor it says that your port failed like a week ago" gonna stop you there we ALREADY TOLD HER THAT. So like I said, either she's an idiot or the idiot before her didn't put any notes in our account or we were LIED TO about everything being "good to go". So we are fed up at this point and ask to be put through to a manager. She puts us on hold and then comes back and goes "I'm going to transfer you to the apartment that initially took care of this it'll be a brief hold". Then she put us on hold, it rang, we weren't sent to a department. We were sent to an AUTOMATED SYSTEM, which made us pick options so we could be put ON HOLD , AGAIN. We are currently on hold right now. We have been on hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone who has no idea what's going on because nobody explained it to them, just stupidly transferred us to an automated system to figure it out on our own. DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE AT&T EVER. My phone will be shut off soon, I don't have the phone, and I will lose the number I have had since I was 13, all because of mishandling and idiocy. I hope this company goes bankrupt. They're in for some serious karma if you read all the other complaints. As an FYI, my significant other is a marine veteran with two deployments. They're screwing over veterans. What an "American" company.
