| - I've been meaning to check this place out for quite sometime. I must say, this place is just wonderful. It's very close to my house, so I can walk there (very Lakewood-esque, I know).
I was walking the girlfriend's dog this morning when I realized I FINALLY had the opportunity to walk in. I finished walking the dog, took her home, and came right back. The front lobby area is small, not much to do as a customer other than pick out what you want and leave. It smells phenomenal inside. I purchased a loaf of bread, four of the specialty soft pretzels, and two cookies. My total came to $8.50, a ridiculously low price when you think about it.
I tried a bit of everything, and it was all just so good. I can't wait to go back and get more pretzels and bread!
When I asked the woman behind the counter how long they'd been there, she said it was a family owned business for 80 years now, which is pretty kick ass.
If you live in the area, visit this place for bread and deserts. You won't be disappointed.
