I really am not a fan of craft stores at all whatsoever. But I bare them because my boyfriend is extremely artistic and my mom loves diy projects. My bf and I usually go to michaels but I forgot that hobby lobby was right up the street from my house. We went there today and our trip was rather disappointing. Not because they didn't have what he wanted (they had everything and a little more) but because of the service. This trip he bought a lot more than usual and I was worried that nothing was on sale. Fortunately I have a coupon app that showed hobby lobby had a 40% off one item coupon available (score!).
Now I wasn't sure what there coupon policy or if they took competitor coupons so I asked the young woman at the counter what they deal was and she explained one coupon per person per day. Okay fine no problem. I split the transaction so we both could use the coupon and pay separately. She started ringing the items up and realized I had a separate order and told me "umm ma'am I'm going to let it slide this time since "he's"!with you but you can't do that".
I may only be 23 but I don't appreciate anyone talking to me like a child no matter how old they are. I let her little comment go because I didn't want to be there any longer than I had to be but I will never be shopping here anymore. Michaels and joanns will do just fine from now on.
