| - This is a pretty nice place, although I just don't get that baseball feel from it. Just like Cardinals stadium in Glendale, it just feels like a big, open, created space (if that makes sense).
The retractable roof is cool, and I learned on one trip there that there is a special song they play when opening it. I loved the in game entertainment, I wish the Padres engaged fans the way the D-backs do.
It's a great place to watch a game, and at least you know that you don't have to worry about the unbearable Arizona heat! The stadium is conveniently located in Downtown Phoenix, near lots of hotels, bars and restaurants. I hear that there is a light rail in Phoenix, however I have never used it.
Someday I would love to have a huge group and chill in the hot tub in the outfield. Overall, I don't think there is anything really special about Chase Field (or the BOB to some old schoolers), but it is a fun place to catch a big league game.
