Made an appointment for our senior dog to specifically see Dr. Master. She had moved from our old vet office to VVAH. The appointment setting went smoothly. We arrived at the appointment only to find out that Dr. Master had left for the day, literally 15 minutes before we got there. No explaination given. We're told they thought someone called us. They didn't. We decided to go ahead and see another doc as we have driven a long way for the appointment. They didn't have my senior dogs medical records from previous vet. They said they requested them, but were unable to obtain the records. If someone would have let me know, I would have picked them up from the old vet myself. Luckily I had the appointment card from the old vet that VVAH could see what was needed. The tech came in and listened to dogs heartbeat, asked us if he'd ever been diagnosed with a heart murmur. No, he hadn't. She said she would have the doc double check it. No mention of a heart murmur for the rest of the appointment. As far as we know, it was never checked again. Our main issue, aside from Dr. Master not being at the scheduled appointment, is the constant pressure to buy their product (a dog bowl) or get more services. We really felt uncomfortable. At the end of the appointment we went to pay in cash. They didn't have change. Ended up using a card. Although the staff was nice, it wasn't a great visit. Our sole purpose for going there was to see Dr. Master. She had been great with our senior dog in the past. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. It wasn't a positive experience.
