| - I lived in Ghana for 3 years, I love Ghanaian and West African food, and this place literally has it all. Yams, cassava, plantains, garden eggs, nkrumah, dried / smoked fish, indomine, fufu powder, tom brown, palm oil, gari, home-made shito, palm-nut extract, banku, kenke, tilapia, frozen meats, milo, even onga spice! If there's a single W. African food you need, this is the place to get it. They even have Geisha soap and the blue Heinz canned beans in tomato sauce! Some of this stuff you can of course get in supermarkets but they have the exact brands you find in Ghana. It's nostalgic and tasty. It's also a good alternative to the insanely processed world of American supermarkets.
In short, go here. They're kind of the only place in Pittsburgh for good W. African food as far as I know.
