  • My daughter lives near the JC Penney in the Arrowhead Town Center, and we've gone there for portraits of her children for the past five years. Today, our photographer was April, and it was, by far, the best portrait session I've ever seen. I have a large collection of photos of children and grandchildren taken at a variety of portrait studios from Florida to California to Arizona, and I have a good eye for well done portraits of children. April took 20 photos of my 3 year-old and 5 year-old granddaughters. The younger child rarely smiles in photos, and the older child occasionally looks away from the camera or flashes a somewhat forced smile. April got 18 out of 20 shots that were absolutely beautiful photos. The two that we weren't interested in were Easter shots, and the little one simply got a little squirrelly with the eggs. The poses were sweet, and the two girls had a wonderful time, which I can tell you rarely happens when we tell them were going to have photos taken of them! April built an immediate rapport with them, and captured one perfect shot after another. I bought the CD of all of the photos because I couldn't decide on a favorite! My daughter and son-in-law agree that this was the best pho shoot ever! Thanks, April! We'll be sure to ask for you next time!
