| - I guess when I write this review, I'm thinking of my experience with Shaw cable and internet service in Vancouver, since that's where I live, but I'm hopeful that my experience is not unique. Shaw is really really great. I'll admit that after our hugely disappointing experience with Telus internet service, the Telus customer service reps, and then the billing department, that my standards for good service were probably low. But from my very first encounter with Shaw, which is now back in August of 2007, I've been hugely publicly supportive of this company. Every interaction I have with a representative is pleasant, whenever I need physical technical support they are available right away, and each technician I have encountered so far has been friendly, helpful and informative. They come when they say they will and are very efficient.
I don't suppose I am really a brand evangelist for too many things, least of all a cable company, but I feel that Shaw should be recognized for their great customer service, and their products as well. While I do not work for Shaw and never have, I do plan to buy shares in the company very soon, and as long as the service remains excellent I will probably never sell them.
So Kudos Shaw! Not many cable companies deserve the kind of respect I am showing here. Now hurry up and offer cellular service so I can dump my current provider.
