  • I'm still a bit confused about how I wound up with this outfit since I googled for Two Men and a Truck...but evidently wound up with this company. The man I discussed the move with was quite nice, told me how much the charge would be for coming and how much per hour (89). Took a credit card to make the reservation. When the movers came (no complaints for them, timely, efficient, and friendly) I was told they had a 3 hour minimum (news to me, never mentioned before), in addition to the charge for coming. Also a fuel charge (never mentioned before). In addition, they said they had to have cash (something I was unprepared for) I was extremely upset. They reduced the charge by one hour, but this still seemed to be a ripoff. The move was less than 2 miles, only a few pieces of furniture and the complete move took 55 minutes. I was later called by someone from the company who apologized (and advised the "fuel charge" was actually the tax. If I had gone with Two Men and a Truck my total charge would have been about $240 (they charge 1 hour minimum, 1 hour to show up). Instead, my charge was $315. Bottom line, communication failed or they were misleading. Don't recommend this company
