Calling this a cheese shop is a bit of a misnomer.
I mean, at it's core it is, but it's really more of a neighbourhood gem. A sophisticated yet casual spot with knowledgable curators offering a great selection of wine, craft beer and...well.. good cheese.
A place to just enjoy.
Sure, it doesn't really belong on this side of the Atlantic. It's truly European in it's simplicity. Perhaps the only reason that it's able to sneak under the radar is because it's well placed in East Chinatown... far enough away from the social-climby set that it actually has room to breathe.
Kinda awesome.
