  • Thoroughly unimpressed with Sharky's. Walked in the door and no one was behind the counter so we sat and waited, thinking like any customer service oriented business that someone would eventually say hello, ask if we had appointment (which we did) but no one did. After about ten minutes of waiting I had to ask one of the stylists if we needed to check in or do we just keep waiting or what. She was short with me because she was busy with another customer which I understand but are we just supposed to sit and wait for customer service that is obviously not going to happen? After finally checking it we continued to wait while the receptionist finally returned carrying her lunch and another stylist (which ended up being ours) casually walked around the salon. Eventually she decided she must be ready to cut hair, so she told us we could come over. Part of the appeal of sharky's is that kids get to pick a chair (and yes, there were chairs open), which we didn't get to do, so the seven year old and five year old got sat in front of an xbox that they have never played and have no intrest in. The stylist may have said a total of five words to me, none of which were "hello" didn't talk to the kids at all, never even smiled and then got frustrated when the youngest would sit still. I eventually gave him my own phone to play with since they couldnt be bothered to let us use the "amenities" the advertise. The cuts are ok but with the horrible customer service I doubt we'll be giving anymore business to Sharky's... Never felt welome there or that they even wantes our business. Extremely dissapointing visit.
