Come here for the Chinese food, not the hibachi. And look out for the ongoing Groupon deal ($15 for $30).
This is my and my husband's go-to when we want to get a lot for cheap as the Groupon never seems to expire. It's been on there for at least 3 years from what I've noticed. Note: the maximum for getting one Groupon deal is three times. I would know since I've gotten my limit of Groupons for Katana. The Chinese dishes and the sushi are not too bad, maybe a bit higher than average as far as Chinese-American dishes and sushi go. The quality is decent and better than a lot of places I've tried, but you'll have better at Sesame Inn up the street. But do not come for hibachi. Maybe not all the hibachi chefs there are bad, but the chef we had over-salted EVERYTHING. Our rice was swimming in soy sauce and it was inedible. Not even the yum yum sauce could fix it, which is hard to do since yum yum sauce is good with everything! Overall, it's very clean, you'll get good service, and the Chinese food and sushi are decent.
