  • Enjoyed our stay at this resort with nice grounds but rooms are dated We enjoyed our fairly spontaneous trip to use up DRI pts. Booked a "Penthouse Villa" which was not worth the extra points. We were on the top (8th floor) but all those units face in towards the pool area so you can't see The Strip. It was a very large unit with a very small kitchen. A very strange, inefficient, poorly lit, massive bathroom design. I'm sure the place will be very nice after DRI does their upgrade, assuming they can allot more space to the kitchen. There's a restaurant on site, the Caribe Lounge, but it's really just a short-order cook place, however, it does have a bar and beer on tap! There were quite a few families there with kids enjoying the pools, spas and water slides. The convenience store is marginally stocked and the fitness center is fairly small. We went to see Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson ONE as well as the Terry Fator show. Both were GREAT! Also, Cafe Berlin was excellent as was Island Flavor. Oh, and the wife was net-positive on the gambling front ;-)
